The exterior is made of high-quality brushed stainless steel, which won’t become stained with usage. In the cleaning process, each part of the cooker can be detached from the main unit and be washed in hot soapy water. The only exception to that is the external housing, which must be cleaned with a damp cloth or kitchen wipes – make sure not to use an abrasive cleaner as this will scratch the finish.
